Righteousness is the quality of being morally right or justifiable.
Welp, that leaves me out and uh... you too! We are bad people and getting worse. When you’re done being offended - flip the news on and soak in how “morally right” we’ve become.
Our righteousness is the loving sacrifice of Jesus offered to us by Him as a gift to receive and PROTECT!
I’m enamored by the intuitiveness Paul garnished through his anointing to prescribe the Breastplate for protection of our righteousness!
“Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,”
This specific armor protects our vital organs and like wise protects the vitality of our spiritual wellbeing!
The enemy is prowling “like” a lion, counterfeit of God, ready to deceive, distract, and discourage you, me, and all those in the family of faith - attempting to rob us of our righteousness and ultimately our testimony!
Anticipate this attack and be ready! We’ll get to that part tomorrow!
